Statistics is an interdisciplinary science that is constantly developing with research and new methods and can be applied to any scientific field. Today, statistical methods are used in every research area where numerical information can be collected. The Department of Statistics aims to educate the participants who will gather the information about the subjects that are required to be clarified correctly and will apply the existing statistical methods skillfully. In addition to providing basic theoretical and practical knowledge to students, modern computer labs are provided with multi-purpose package programs and post-university life orientation and practice.
